The Brief
To provide production management for the UK premiere of CARE, marking acclaimed writer and director Alexander Zeldin's debut production at the Young Vic. The production explored ageing, grief, dementia and the realities of the care system through a deeply human and intimate portrait of life within a residential care home, continuing Zeldin's internationally recognised body of socially engaged theatre.

Delivered production management for CARE in the Young Vic Main House, overseeing the production from concept development through rehearsals, technical delivery, performances and final get-out.

Worked closely with the Young Vic's artistic, technical and producing teams to realise Alexander Zeldin's highly detailed and naturalistic vision, coordinating scenic construction, technical departments, logistics, scheduling and production budgets.

Supported the creation of a meticulously observed care home environment that placed audiences at the heart of the action, balancing realism, operational complexity and emotional intimacy within the Young Vic's flexible performance space.

Managed the delivery of a large ensemble production featuring an acclaimed cast led by Linda Bassett, ensuring a seamless production process across an extended rehearsal, technical and performance period.

Oversaw all production logistics, technical planning, health and safety compliance, budgeting and physical production elements while maintaining the artistic integrity of a highly sensitive and emotionally demanding piece of theatre.
