Museum of Austerity
Mixed Reality Museum Exhibition
The Brief
To provide full production management for Museum of Austerity, a theatre-based mixed reality touring exhibition combining immersive installation, documentary testimony and digital technology. The project toured to Live Theatre Newcastle, International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam, Bristol Old Vic, Gulbenkian Kent and Kampnagel Hamburg, before its later London run at the Young Vic in winter 2025/26.
The Production Family supported the delivery of the installation across multiple venues, coordinating build work, technical and staging hires, venue adaptation and touring logistics, while integrating elements of the physical build developed by a separate Manchester-based team.
