Transform Festival 2023
International Arts Festival
The Brief
To deliver the production and technical aspects of Transform’s biennial, mixed artform international festival. Working with multiple venues and partners across Leeds to present works from the UK, Australia, South Africa, Iran, Ukraine, Iceland, Brazil, Italy, Belgium, USA and the Netherlands.
Specialisms
- Production Management
- Technical Management
‘International festivals can easily feel detached from their host city. In bringing together artists from all over the world, the local gets lost in the mix. But at Transform, the character of Leeds is baked into the programme.

What we acheived
- Worked with artists from across the globe to find suitable venues to present their work, ensuring their technical riders were fulfilled.
- Built a venue in a warehouse, installed an interactive artwork in Leeds Train Station, did a gig in a church, an exhibition in a shopping centre and much more.
- Utilised relationships with local venues and suppliers to deal with last minute changes and requests.
- Successfully delivered 4 co-commissions and 12 other projects over 8 days with a small team.
