The Brief
To lead an extensive production team in the creation and delivery of the 10th edition of Manchester International Festival, a daring, large scale festival of newly commissioned world-firsts, produced and presented in Manchester.

What we achieved

Provided the Head of Production for the festival who fully integrated into the internal team at Factory International, working with the full-time team as well as recruiting a large pool of production staff.

Successfully delivered 13 brand new works, from exhibitions in warehouses to outdoors life size animals on the streets of Manchester.

Worked with emergency services, Transport for Greater Manchester, Environmental Health and other stakeholders to ensure the safe and compliant running of the festival.

Provided production management and scenic/prop build for the opening event.
