The Brief
To provide production management for the remount and tour of The Legends of Them, a breath-taking, roof-raising chronicle of Sutara Gayle’s singular, extraordinary life – and of the legends that have guided her. The tour included dates in Manchester, Brighton and Brixton House as well as a week long run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

What we achieved

Full production management at all venues including leading the fit-up and get-out at each tour location. This included working with members of our freelancer pool to fill stage management and associate creative roles.
- Video production support including Qlab programming and leading on projection.
- Managing the show inline with the Intermediate level Theatre Green Book. We adapted the pre-existing set in our workshop to create a more functional and tourable set which would be easy to assemble and dismantle, especially during the run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. We made sure that we had minimal waste and that unsustainable consumables were kept to a minimum.
- Use of our in-house technical equipment on tour to provide a robust and high-quality touring technical package.
